Thank you SO MUCH for setting up this website! I feel that I can know what is going on by checking this website. I am glad that this is one form of media in Coffeyville that I can count on for the most current developments!

My question is. I work for a local contracting company that does dirt work and demolitions. I would like to know who to contact about helping clean our city up. Coffeyville has always had a stong work force and took pride in taking care of those around us. I think using local businesses to rebuild our community would be econimical and safer for everyone concerned. If you live and do business in this area and use labor in this area those people will do a better job. Community pride is still in Coffeyville.

We have put all of the flood damaged items from my Grandma’s house out by the curb. Is there a plan for picking up the trash? Do we need to request a pick up?

For the homes that only got water in a basement or garage… We need to remove wood paneling that is in a basement hung over cement blocks. The paneling has mold on it. What are the risks of working in the basement and removing the paneling? There are windows and we can set up fans for good ventilation. Do we need to wear a certain kind of mask so we don’t breathe in mold? Can someone post some information on cleaning and how to do it safely?

Does anyone know how to get a copy of the song that they are playing on 98.1 (not sure of the name but it is the flood song with the emergency warnings and officials talking)?
