We were wondering if there was a place to drop off used clothes and toys for those in need. We are lucky that we are far enough west that we did not get wet. So, we want to help anyone that we can. Please, please let us know. We have bags of stuff that was going in a yard sale. We would rather give it away and help our neighbors. Thanks! D. and A. Powell
It saddens me that coffeyville is going through this. But what saddens me even more is to see the pointing of fingers and the yelling and fighting. And the price gouging of some local companies. This is nuts. We should all be thankful. I think our city officials and emergency personell and volunteers have been wonderful. We should be so lucky to have so many want to help. Take time away from their own families to help. This is a problem that can not be fixed over night. It is going to take some time. Lets be patient and help each other out. And thank God for anything and everything that is offered to you. From me and my family I want to say thank you to all that have done what they can to help. THANK YOU!

Those pictures are nice, but no way do they show the harm to the eastside of town east of Pine St. going towards Highway 169.
