Mr. Hendrix,
Thank you for posting all of your photos. I have looked at them over and over again, and it is still hard to believe this is our hometown. Every day since I have been amazed at the helping hands that have been extended to all of the victims. Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to make it easy for us to see what really happend and the progress of our finding our way back from the flood.

I was born and rasised in Coffeyville. I now live in California. I have been coming to visit every couple of years. I am just devistated over what has happened. My heart and prayers go out to all the victims. Thank you so much for taking and posting these pictures. I know that the people of Coffeyville will rebuild and carry on. Again thank you for showing what really happened
This is Lindsay Oyler..yes, Dwayne’s little sister. I now live in Chicago…and I have to to tell you- it is completely surreal seeing these photos. I drove through the area around July 5 and I really couldn’t believe it. To see the place that I grew up and made all of my memories this way is unreal. Your shots are great and they really give me a better idea of the devastation that I cannot see from where I live- I appreciate them so much. I only wish that I could get some grasp on what I am looking at. It all seems so confusing and unrecognizable. I am thinking about Coffeyville and praying for the entire community despite my not being there. Thanks for the great eye-opening shots.

I am not from the Coffeyville area but am in deep sympathy of the loss for everyone there and what they must be going through. I was wondering if any of the photos that you had taken were of the Budget Inn? Unfortunatley it was my father, Mr Denning, who passed away there and was curious. I know that you had some photos of hotels but did not know if any were of the Budget Inn. If you have any, or know anyone that does please let me know at vschaefs@hotmail.com. Thank you!
